Background

510 Organization is a Taiwan Local non-profit organization, focus on supporting other small-to-medium size Ngos. They provide various services that an ngo might need, such as accounting, fund raising, volunteer recruitment...etc. And I was invited to design the major visual design for their annual dinner in 2024.

Concept Development

The design direction I received was "Restart", "Bright Future", and "Space Elements". They would like to emphasize the hope after the end of Covid-19 which has shut down many social services. Therefore, I started to look for some historical moments in space technology that bring hope and future.

After deciding the symbolic shape, I furthur develop and delagate meanings for design with three stages: "Landing Spot", "Highs & Lows", "Climbing Up". They representing the assemble of Small-Medium Ngo, then together endure the Covid-19 and recover with a brighter future.

Referring to colors, I think of the traffic lights. It is the moment when the yellow transit to the green, supporting the idea of restart and future. Meanwhile, to stay cohesive with the "moon-landing historical event", I want to create something with 1st person point of view inside a spaceship, creating the moment they see lights shine behind daarkness.
